Obituary for Patricia L. Rowlson (Shea )

Patricia Shea L. Rowlson, 96, of West Hartford, passed away on July 2, 2016. She was the loving wife of the late John F. Rowlson. She was born on April 14, 1920 in Hartford, the daughter of Cornelius and Viola Shea.

She was a 1938 graduate of Bulkeley High School and worked at Pratt & Whitney during Would War II. She was active in the Elmwood Community Church and the Eastern Star. She loved to play bridge and travel with her late husband.

She was predeceased by a son, Frederick Long and a daughter, Maryann McEachern.

She leaves to cherish her memory her two daughters, Lynne Bride and her husband Joseph of Fayetteville, GA, Jane Selden and her husband Stephen of Oxford, MD; and her son Robert and his wife Barbara of West Hartford; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A private family service will be held at the convenience of the family. Sheehan-Hilborn-Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford has care of the arrangements.
