Lucilia (Alves) Louro, 83, of Newington, formerly of Hartford, beloved wife of Antonio Louro, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016, unexpectedly with her family by her side. Born in Moliana, Sao Bento, Portugal, she came to the Hartford area in 1971. Lucilia was employed for many years at the Greenwoods Convalescent Home in Hartford, prior to her retirement and was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Hartford. Besides her husband, she is survived by a her daughter and son-in-law, Idalia and Fernando Costa of Newington and a special grandson, whom she loved and cherished, Michael Costa of Newington, who was her world. Lucilia also leaves many loving friends and family members. Funeral procession will be Tuesday, (July 19), 9:00 am from the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Hartford. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Calling hours are Monday, (July 18), from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.SheehanHilbornBreen.com.
