Robert T.  Cooke
Robert T. Cooke, 79, of Farmington, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT. Born in Middletown, CT, the son of the late William and Margaret (Hauck) Cooke, Bob served in the U.S. Army as a photographer from 1955-58. He later attended the University of Connecticut, worked for many years at the Aetna Life & Casualty before opening his photo and camera equipment business, BCP Photographica. He was a member of the Photographic Historical Society of New England. His hobbies were buying and selling photo and camera equipment while indulging loved ones with beautiful photos of family gatherings, holiday festivities, and memorable events.
He was loved and will be missed by his dear wife of 40 years, Gloria (Palacio) Cooke of Farmington, a brother and sister-in-law Bill and Sharon Cooke of Valatie, NY; sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Tony Amenta of Cromwell; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Nestor and Bonnie Palacio of Tariffville; mother-in-law Clara Palacio of Hartford; as well as a nephew, numerous nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Arrangements are under the care of Sheehan-Hilborn-Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford. A private service will be held at a later date for immediate family members. Online condolences please visit: www.SheehanHilbornBreen.com
